Day 01: Cochin-
The Elephant Camp tour begins with Cochin. On arrival one of the representatives of Indian Horizon will greet you and escort you to the Kodanad Elephant Training Center which is 65 km from Cochin. This elephant rescue center is situated on the banks of River Periyar opposite to Malayatoor Church and Kodanad. On arrival visit the Kodanad Elephant Training Center where elephants are groomed, trained and fed. Over night stay at the pre booked hotel.
Day 02: Pathanamitta
Next day after breakfast leave for another elephant care destination situated 2 km from Pathanamitta. Konni elephant Camp has an elephant museum which has an elephant skeleton and various devices used by mahouts to control elephants, traditional method of restorative treatment given to them etc. You can take the elephant rides with trained mahouts. Return back to Cochin for onwards journey.
