The Bekal Fort rests amidst the wandering but inspiring melody of the seas along with the everlasting reminder of the endless waves, moving the
awesome memories of a previous period. The Hanuman temple and the Ancient Muslim Mosque nearby the fort bears the evidence of religious harmony prevailed in that locale. The fort was supposed to build for fulfilling the defence requirements. Unlike the other Indian forts Bekal fort was not a center of administration without any leftovers of a Palace within the Fort. The natural and overjoyed beauty of the setting sun is a celebrated presence of the fort, accountable in gathering a large array of traveler from all over the world. There remain some significant holes of the outer walls of the fort, which are defining the forts efficiently. Aiming at farthest point signifies the holes at the top, hitting the enemy nearer means holes at the bottom whereas enemy is very near to the fort denotes holes underneath. The imperative characteristics of this fort is its tank with flight of steps and its crisscross entrance with several channels around the fort demonstrate the defense strategy linked with the fort.
